Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This policy explains what information ChatFast collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. ChatFast (chatfast.click) lets organisations such as churches, clinics and schools answer and send WhatsApp messages automatically.
The short version
- When you message an organisation that uses ChatFast, we process your WhatsApp number, profile name and messages so that its bot can reply to you.
- We process this information on behalf of that organisation. We never sell it and we never use it for advertising.
- Our website uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
- You can ask us, or the organisation, for a copy of your information or to delete it at any time.
1Who we are
ChatFast is operated from New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. You can contact us at mkarim.ms@gmail.com or +201284898708.
When you exchange messages with an organisation through ChatFast, that organisation decides why and how your information is used (it is the data controller), and ChatFast processes the information on its behalf. For our website and for the accounts of organisation admins, ChatFast itself is responsible for the information.
2Information we collect
People who message an organisation on WhatsApp
Your WhatsApp phone number or the identifier WhatsApp gives us instead of it, your WhatsApp profile name, the messages you send and receive (including the menu options and buttons you choose), and the date and time of each message. If you send photos, voice notes, documents or your location, we receive a reference to that content from WhatsApp.
People on an organisation's broadcast list
Organisations can add phone numbers to lists for scheduled reminders and announcements. We use these numbers only to send the messages that the organisation schedules.
Organisation admins
Your name and mobile number, the organisations you manage, and records of your sign-ins and of the actions you take in the portal, such as publishing bot content or replying to a contact.
Website visitors
Our servers keep standard technical logs: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time.
3How we use information
- To provide the service: receive messages, send the organisation's automatic replies and scheduled messages, and show conversations to the organisation's admins.
- To give organisations usage reports, such as message volumes and active contacts.
- To sign admins in securely, for example by sending a one-time login code over WhatsApp.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To comply with the law.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use it to show advertising, and we do not use the content of your messages to train artificial-intelligence models.
4Why we are allowed to use it
Where data protection laws apply, such as Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we rely on:
- Our contract with the organisation, to provide the service it asked for.
- Legitimate interests, to keep the service secure and working well.
- Consent, where the law requires it. Organisations are responsible for getting your permission before sending you scheduled or promotional messages, as WhatsApp's Business Policy also requires.
- Legal obligations, when the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
6Where information is stored
Our servers and database are hosted by Amazon Web Services in the European Union (Paris, France). Meta may process WhatsApp messages in other countries. When information is transferred outside your country, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer.
7How long we keep information
- Conversations and broadcast lists: for as long as the organisation uses ChatFast, so that it can see its conversation history and reports. When an organisation stops using ChatFast, or asks us to delete its data, we delete that data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- Admin accounts: until the account is removed, plus a short period for security records.
- Server logs: kept for a short period and deleted automatically.
8Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to how we use your information, or ask us to limit it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To stop receiving messages from an organisation, tell the organisation or block its number in WhatsApp. To exercise any of these rights, contact the organisation you messaged or email us at mkarim.ms@gmail.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Egypt, this is the Personal Data Protection Center.
9How to delete your data
Email mkarim.ms@gmail.com with your WhatsApp number and the name of the organisation you messaged, and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm the request, delete your messages and identifiers from ChatFast within 30 days, and let the organisation know.
Messages remain in your own WhatsApp app and with Meta, which we do not control.
11Security
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our servers and database, and encryption of sensitive credentials. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information, and if a breach occurs we will inform the affected organisations and the authorities as the law requires.
12Children
ChatFast is a service for organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from children for our own purposes. Organisations that communicate with children through ChatFast, for example churches that run activities for young people, are responsible for obtaining any permission the law requires, such as from a parent or guardian.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ChatFast changes. We will publish the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and tell organisations about important changes.
